Tip No.5 Decide To lose Weight Now!
Decisions!
You have to make a number of decisions.
1. Recognize that you have a weight problem and decide to do something about it. Ok ok we all know we have a weight problem, but most of us live in denial because we are not prepared to make that decision to do something about it. So long as the decision remains a fantasy, none of the weight loss goals you want to achieve will become the reality you so desire. Any achievement by anyone of great or small significance was preceded by a decision to do something!. There is power in making a decision that sometimes defies logic. The brain is stimulated to produce the results that you desire and helps to maintain the self will to achieve your goals. Your brain can’t help you without the decision you need to take. It must be like “Okay this is it. TODAY is the day!. From today on I am working on the NEW ME.”
2. Set Your Goals Decisively.
- I eat only healthy and nutritous food
- I follow a healthy and sensible weight loss plan
- I lose ___________ kilograms or pounds per month
- I drop a size every 2 weeks
- I exercise 5 time per week
- I exercise ________ mins per session
Set as many goals as you want. In caution though don’t set too many because your goals need to be measurable. Pick the most important ones and then stick to them until you start achieving success. Goals are a great way to maintain your discipline and keep you accountable. A lack of discipline (or ignorance) is what causes us to gain weight in the first place. Ill discipline also causes us to slip back into old habits. If this should happen then thats the time to revisit the decisions and the goals and re-iterate whats important to you. Most importantly after every set back ensure that you never give up.
3. Make the decision to stick to everything that you have put down in your goals. For the best success in anything the only thing you need to do is to DECIDE to do it and then stick to your decision like glue.
